ABSTRACT

The chapters and case studies within Part 2 of ‘Supporting Course and Programme Leaders in Higher Education: Practical Wisdom for Leaders, Educational Developers and Programme Leaders' examine the ways in which individual programme leaders (PLs) have come to understand and develop their own roles in relation to their environment (institutional and disciplinary) and other colleagues. This moves us from the institutional perspectives of Part 1 and provides a link to Part 3 through a focus on the development of individual practice and understanding in relation to context and other people.
