ABSTRACT
This case study explains how an institutional research investigation helped to unpack the additional complexity associated with a combined or joint hours programme and identify elements that will help those leading such programmes. Irving Bell and colleagues explored both staff and student experience and made a series of recommendations in order to address shortcomings in the current operational environment.
