ABSTRACT

This case study explores a three-stage process for coordinating programme-wide curriculum design. The stages were as follows, first, to create a shared understanding of the assessments on the programme. Second, to administer a survey to members of the programme team to identify the key issues in their module. Finally, to attend an ‘assessment therapy’ session with the programme leader (PL) to consider specific areas of assessment in detail. The case study closes with key reflections on the process including the impact of the process on staff workloads.
