ABSTRACT
This article from the Irish context demonstrates the rich potential of drawing together a group of people across fields around a common project. It’s quite exciting to see a publication with a chaplain, two medical doctors and a bishop all listed as contributors. This collaborative, interdisciplinary approach means that the insights within apply across fields, transcending practical theology in a way that resonates clearly with the early vision of inter-disciplinary pastoral studies evidenced in the Contact archive.
