ABSTRACT

This chapter suggests practical ways in which new creativities and the notion of ‘posthumanism’ point toward future primary education possibilities. Readers are invited into the ‘sandbox’ of ‘posthuman creativities’ in order to collaboratively reimagine primary education futures that focus on creative environments, ecologies and practices which include non-human collaborators such as built environment, animals, non-animate beings, sandboxes and other sites of and partners in serious play.
