ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with Sweden's vaccine policy, specifically vaccine production in the National Bacteriological Laboratory, prior to its closure. Today neither Sweden nor any other Nordic country produces vaccine for national use – although this could change as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
