ABSTRACT
This chapter examines long-term initiatives for older persons in Indonesia. It provides updates on social, economic, and health as well as current regulatory frameworks and related social and health services for older persons. The chapter presents information on access to Posyandu Lansia (Integrated care post) and other community services. In addition, it provides insight into innovative programs such as SILANI Sistem Informasi Lanjut Usia (comprehensive information system on older persons).
