ABSTRACT

This final chapter begins by exploring the core principles for trans reproductive and sexual justice that can be derived from each of the substantive chapters. These principles provide a broad overview of what is currently working in terms of trans reproductive and sexual justice, and what can be built on going into the future. The chapter then briefly explores a number of areas that require additional attention into the future, including abortion, menstruation care, polycystic ovarian syndrome, contraception, and sex work. The chapter concludes by then reiterating the importance of research in the field of trans reproductive and sexual health that moves beyond damage-centred approaches, while nonetheless always being mindful of the harmful effects of cisgenderism.
