ABSTRACT

This chapter sheds light on Syrian students’ aspirations with regard to postgraduate studies and the tough conditions that have been hindering their fulfilment. Collecting and analysing students’ responses on accessing student mobility have uncovered their wishes and perspectives with regard to their educational future. The students have presented a clear representation of themselves as being entitled to better educational opportunities like joining online postgraduate programmes at British universities, to defeat the existing obstacles. The students also constructed themselves as entitled to contributing in the creation of solutions that facilitate their fellow students’ educational paths.
