ABSTRACT
The author believes analysis word that describes the process of fulfilling one’s curiosity. An analysis is a process of examining, breaking down, and studying a complex substance, topic, or system into smaller parts to better understand its nature, elements, processes, and structure. The study of an existing form – an analysis – is an integral practice for everyone who is learning a new discipline. Medical students take surgery courses in which they dissect cadavers to understand human anatomy. Just as masters in every discipline have their corresponding knowledge on their subject matter, professional screenwriters are storytelling masters. The author suggests students of screenwriting find the latest draft of the screenplay they want to analyze and read it in one sitting, without interruption, if possible. Based on how rewarding, refreshing, compelling, satisfying, and moving these emotions are to the readers, they will find value in the screenplay.
