ABSTRACT
In the Arabic section, the system adopted to transliterate the titles of Arabic works and the names of Arab writers follows the guidelines established by the Deutsche Morgenländische Gesellschaft (DMG; German Oriental Society). In the articles, names appear first in Arabic letters and then in English as they are published in European sources. They are also transliterated by the DMG system so that readers can read them with the correct Arabic pronunciation.
