ABSTRACT
This chapter is an in-depth exposition of one of Jung’s major contributions to psychology. The chapter includes a comparison of the model with the ten, well-known, Zen ox-herding pictures, followed by an exploration of Wolfgang Giegerich’s revisionist thinking on psychological alchemy.
