ABSTRACT
Diana of Paradise Island, Diana Prince, Wonder Woman has lived many lives over her 80 years. During the 2016 Wonder Woman Symposium, we commemorated this iconic figure’s 75th anniversary, returning to key moments in her history: Diana’s birth during the midst of World War II; her feminist resurgence in the 1970s thanks to both Gloria Steinem and Lynda Carter; then her bursting on the scene in a blockbuster Hollywood film, incarnated by the incomparable Gal Gadot. O Great Hera! Our timing seemed positively providential.
