ABSTRACT

This conclusion digests the chapters that precede it, briefly revisits the context of 21st-century socially-concerned storytelling, and presents a flexible framework to apply the related concepts and approaches presented by scholars and producers who contributed to this volume. The flexible framework recommends that scholars and producers consider eight parameters for analysis and production of socially-concerned transmedia stories: story contexts, empathy research, storyworld delimitation, targeting, aesthetics, story network, user contribution, and results testing in order to evaluate or produce effective projects.
