Genetics evolution and culture

This chapter supports the reader in understanding a range of theoretical concepts in relation to genetics, evolution and culture. It considers what is nature versus nurture and tests these concepts in relation to negative and positive eugenics and the developing gnome. It considers the developing brain, neuroscience and twin studies in relation to epigenetics and nature versus nurture and concludes that although this chapter has tested the concept of nature versus nurture through considering current scientific research the debate will continue for a long time to come.
