ABSTRACT

This chapter takes the shape of a proposal for a fresh approach to reflective practice. It is argued that by engaging in conversation with those upon whom a professional practice touches, as consequential stakeholders, the act of reflection is enhanced, amplified and rendered more critical. Through judicious interaction, conducted in a context of trust, respect and mutual esteem new perspectives regarding that practice may emerge and their meaning reconsidered in the form of an enlightened reflexive dialogic encounter.
