ABSTRACT

This chapter is the result of a history of collaboration between Luis Olguín, Sylvia London, and Irma “Neca” Rodríguez. It discusses collaborative capital links, a concept that evolved from the merging of capital links and collaborative-dialogic (C-D) practices as a conversational and relational approach to attain the company's mission. Luis Olguín's family has traditionally been involved in political consultation and community development. Olguín refers to C-D practices as a conversational and relational methodology that facilitates putting his concept of capital links into practice. Based on postmodern, social constructionist, and hermeneutic assumptions, C-D practices offer a platform where collaborative relationships and dialogic conversations become the pillars for creating possibilities for transformation for all involved.
