ABSTRACT

Technological advances and the increased need to support students with disabilities through technology solutions, including tools for online learning, increase the importance of understanding how these tools can be effectively and efficiently used. The purpose of this chapter is to highlight the current state of research focused on using technology and online learning to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. Implications from this research for practitioners and parents are provided. Additionally, goals for the next decade of research focused using technology to support students with disabilities are provided.
