ABSTRACT
This chapter highlights the issues concerning skill development of our graduates for meeting the present and futuristic market demands with a view to improve the employability index. The study also considers the impact of skilling on the economy of our country, and underlines the role of Entrepreneurship and the measures required for boosting it up. Various international models of vocationalization adopted by different growing economies of the world are also studied while suggesting a model for India.
