ABSTRACT

In this chapter, Kate Beckett explains how she and Tony McBride used Forum Theatre (FT) – a form of participatory drama – to mobilise diverse knowledge and catalyse change in post-injury psychological care, an aspect of care that has been neglected despite the evidence about its importance. They show how FT can replicate and enhance the ways in which mindlines are effectively learned, modified, and transmitted to enable multi-level improvements in practice, behaviour, and research.
