ABSTRACT

In this chapter, Joost Wijchen and Maria Alme describe a revolutionary approach to the education of physiotherapy undergraduates, based on the assumption that they begin developing their mindlines from the very start. The course has been designed with an innovative shift in learning philosophies, environments, and experiences; it does away with a formal curriculum – learning occurs through varied collaborative, reflective experience to encourage collective mindlines. The students who qualifying through that course feel more confident and energised in their practice and their learning than previous cohorts did.
