ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the possibilities of digitally based educational learning. Bildung learning is a central approach of integrative Bildung research.

Integrative Bildung research is defined by an interdisciplinary combination of Bildung-theoretical and empirical social research strategies. Bildung learning is defined as learning that is based on power and freedom or explorative curiosity and self-efficacy expectations. The didactic strategies of e-learning 2.0 can help to transfer Bildung learning into contexts of digital learning. Simultaneously, Bildung learning provides a normative framework in which e-learning 2.0 can be contextualized.
