ABSTRACT
As a recommendation of the Creating Pathways forum, a new position was funded by the Australia Council’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts Board (ATSIAB), and the strategic initiative Treading the Pathways was developed in partnership with Ausdance National. The author, employed as the inaugural National Indigenous Dance Coordinator in February 2007, talks about this program.
