252Within this book, we have described the change process towards a restorative just culture as a journey. A journey requires a significant level of planning, investment, commitment and engagement from all levels of the organisation. Like any journey of organisational change, there are barriers and enablers that you will endure. However, a determination to plan and resource through these challenges will result in benefits and tangible results, some of which can be seen and felt fairly soon – and by all stakeholders. In this chapter, we position where that journey should start, if you like – a prerequisite of this journey, which is in the training and development of your workforce to successfully implement organisational culture change.
