ABSTRACT

This chapter aims to compare traditional teacher-led with student-centred Team Academy approach in entrepreneurship education, focusing on the roles of the instructor and the learner. The chapter draws on Bloom's taxonomy and Kolb's ELT models of teaching and learning and three case studies of final year undergraduate entrepreneurship courses in three UK universities. The data derived from participant observation and nine semi-structured interviews with instructors and students is used to develop the Entrepreneurial Experiential Learning (EEL) framework. The framework shows that experiential learning in entrepreneurship is most effective when the learning process progresses from Intentions, Concepts, Experience, Reflection and Experimentation.
