ABSTRACT

This chapter reflects on the challenges and resolutions to deploy the innovative Finnish Team Academy model, emphasizing team-orientated experiential learning, in an entrepreneurship postgraduate programme in the United Kingdom. The contribution of this chapter is to provide reflective insights into operating the Team Academy model in a hybrid design and to discuss its implications for theories and practice of entrepreneurship education. I reveal the challenging experience of introducing the Team Academy Module due to the institutional conflicts between pedagogy and heutagogy in entrepreneurship education. I proposed a hybrid approach, which creates a local learning environment in which pedagogical and heutagogical practices co-immerse and are more effective to overcome the conventional constraints of entrepreneurship education to implement Team Academy approaches.
