ABSTRACT

UWE was a pioneer in the UK launching and implementing a Team Entrepreneurship undergraduate degree in 2013. Since then, the programme has been adapting and restructuring considering the feedback obtained from educators, partners, and students. This chapter will show how the programme has evolved towards an enterprising and entrepreneurial competence-based framework, which has been implemented in 2020–2021. It will include semi-structured interviews with educators, programme leaders, and team entrepreneurs (TEs) that have been involved in that process. Our findings show that curriculum design around Team Academy (TA) programmes does not follow a linear process, but strategies such as developing a shared ethos for the programme and building a strong and aligned team coaches’ team have always been part of the success. The new design moves in between process and product-based models, and getting this balance right is one of the most challenging things for the programme team. These and other success and challenging factors are discussed in the final reflections of the chapter.
