ABSTRACT
This chapter reports the findings regarding translation technological (TT) development and application in Taiwan’s translation industry, university education and academic research. To improve the inadequacy of TT use in industry and academy, some solutions are proposed, including on-the-job training, joint-lecture, regular TT conferences and relevant others. Equally important is translation research that needs to incorporate TT elements in response to the changing translation scenario.
