ABSTRACT
Computer-aided translation (CAT) systems are software applications aimed at increasing translators’ productivity while maintaining an acceptable level of quality. The use of these systems, restricted to technical translation in the nineties, has extended now to most types of translation, and most translators, including non-professionals, could benefit from using them.
