ABSTRACT

The Giving Voice to Values (GVV) curriculum, with over 1,175 pilots (and growing) at educational institutions (undergraduate, graduate, and executive education) and business and non-profit organizations on all seven continents, offers an engaging, pragmatic, and flexible approach to developing ethical leaders at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional education levels. In this chapter, the authors discuss course development and pedagogy, as well as reflections on the student experience, in the hope of providing guidance and inspiration to other instructors seeking to create a GVV elective. In this chapter, the authors discusses the lessons learned from our experiences, with a particular focus on the opportunities and challenges one is likely to encounter in adopting, integrating, and scaling GVV. Innovation in any organization often requires finding the necessary resources and allies. As ethics scandals continue to emerge in business, business schools often are asked how their curriculum addresses the ethics education. .
