ABSTRACT
The SCO is open for cooperation with all countries and IOs to strengthen international and regional security, sustainable social and economic development, and expand cultural and humanitarian ties. One of these SCO partners is the EAEU. The purpose of this chapter is to identify the most promising areas of cooperation between the two organizations, considering the interests of all stakeholders. In this regard, the analysis of the existing regional mechanisms of cooperation between the SCO and the EAEU 1 is carried out to identify the potential for expanding and deepening the interaction of the two organizations, as well as proposing the optimal international legal framework for such cooperation. Interaction mechanisms will be of a special nature, they can be based on international treaty, or the presentation of observer status, as well as intensify the dialogue partnership in specific directions, considering regional initiatives.
