ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses trends in wellbeing interventions in organisations. It considers changes in working practices, such as increased hybrid working, and the wellbeing challenges they bring. There is a focus on coaching as a core intervention for improving wellbeing, as well as an exploration of core sources of pressure and stress in organisations and how they can be managed. The chapter considers the importance of evolving management approaches to enhance wellbeing and how job crafting can make an important contribution. It concludes by underlining the need for interventions that can integrate situational and individual perspectives to adequately manage and improve wellbeing.
