ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses strategic decisions in the development trajectory of Desert Stars research-creation project, from the perspective of Effectuation and the concept of co-creation. Desert Stars is a transmedia i-doc (linear, interactive, and immersive documentary) led by Felipe Carrelli, in partnership with GalileoMobile. Based on a decolonial perspective and ethnoastronomical guidelines, the i-doc is part of the scientific communication project Amanar and seeks to denounce the refugee status faced by the Saharawi people in Western Sahara through the dissemination of their astronomical knowledge.
