ABSTRACT
This final chapter summarizes the lessons learned, tips and tricks, and opportunities for growth presented in Shared Mass Trauma in Social Work; while also outlining the ways in which shared trauma remains an evolving concept that has grown over the years, becoming more well-known and understood, and guiding numerous practitioners. While discussing future directions for social workers, it transmits the hope that the book will 1) inspire research and evidence-based practice, and 2) help social workers cope with dangerous and difficult circumstances confronting communities all over the world, building social resilience as they work with their clients and progress together along the way.
