ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an overview of the role that government relations place in governance – as a key connection between institutions of government and the citizenry. We present a synopsis of each chapter in the manuscript including the mechanisms and techniques for government officials to use in pursuing public relation via traditional media outlets to digital media.
