ABSTRACT

Organising your research project requires a careful consideration of your research question, the time you have available and the tools or techniques you’d like to use. This chapter provides you with some practical advice on framing realistic questions and developing a strategy for exploring them through a rigorously planned research process. Unpacking the elements of a research theme or topic or question in relation to published material (the literature) will also help you to position your work in context and relate it, in your reporting, to other relevant work.
