ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the trajectory from supervisee to supervisor, making several stops along the way. It covers the challenges and rewards inherent in all teaching, but especially in the unique space of two clinical consulting rooms: the supervisee’s and the supervisor’s. How this looks in different countries and contexts, among varying approaches and orientations, and within multiple professional educational backgrounds is the nub of the chapter—supervision as both reality and metaphor.
