ABSTRACT

The creation of company value by shareholders is an important topic for companies operating in the sector of modern technologies. It is particularly important for companies in innovative sectors in the context of the digital economy. In identifying the factors shaping the relationship between company value and shareholders' influence, the importance of organisational culture and tools used by shareholders is sought. For the concept of dependence adopted in this way, the issue of constructing competitive advantage as a source of building the company's ability to create value in the long term through choices mapped in the organisational culture has been identified. It was pointed out that shareholders may have a significant influence on shaping such an organisational culture, which will be more than other factors conducive to constructing competitive advantage leading to the creation of company value. Selected results of empirical research on shaping shareholder dependence and the effectiveness of long-term value creation of an impact factor, i.e. the construction of an organisational culture based on healthy principles allowing it to continue and develop, were also presented.
