ABSTRACT

As the worst global crisis since World War II, the COVID-19 global pandemic is having an unprecedented impact on the global and Chinese economies, leading to a sharp global economic recession and presenting a unique set of challenges for China’s economic development. The impact of this epidemic has led to global crisis, which is essentially the crisis of people’s livelihoods, and tremendous uncertainty still exists about the future development of the global pandemic—more time is needed for the economy to return to normal. The wide spread of the COVID-19 pandemic across the world has made the persistently sluggish world economy even worse, and lack of adequate understanding of emerging viral infectious diseases has made it especially difficult to accurately predict the trend the pandemic will take in the short term. Thus the uncertainties around economic activities and the pandemic itself increase.
