ABSTRACT

The advancement in technology has transformed organizations and their operations, whereas regulatory modifications have facilitated the effective role out and standardization of digitization across all industry sectors. The potential data of these industries have now been explored by research entities, and they have started developing analytical tools, such as Business Analytics, HR Metrics, Business Intelligence (BI), etc. These tools are under constant modification and upgradation with new features. As per current market trends, BI has been found to be a preferred solution for HR functions. This chapter shall propose to present the role of BI in HR planning to aid qualitative and quantitative workforce at all operational positions. The data, processes, KPIs, Dashboard design, Strategy Map, etc., have been discussed in detail with regard to the lifecycle and maturity level of the industry.
