ABSTRACT

The objective of this analysis is to identify the factors that affect entrepreneurship in Indonesia according to the economic context. The data that is utilized is from the "Global Entrepreneurship Monitor" (GEM) from the period 2001-2015 at the global individual level for Indonesia and considering the different periods in the years 2001-2015, which are, pre-crisis, crisis and post-crisis. The most relevant factors that influence an individual to become an entrepreneur will be analyzed. The objective of this analysis is to identify the main factors affecting entrepreneurship in Indonesia (during the period 2001-2015) so that they can be used by the governments of the different territories (central government or autonomous government) to make decisions and carry out actions that enhance the inclusion of women in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
