ABSTRACT
This chapter documents a roundtable format interview with professional dramaturgs and educators working on methods of writing immersive and participatory frameworks. The discussion centers on the changes occurring in contemporary performance writing. The interviewees offer advice to theatre educators for rethinking the ways students are taught dramatic narrative construction and dramaturgical world-building to meet the needs of audiences who crave more interactivity inside theatrical events.
