ABSTRACT

This chapter serves as a response to the section “Narrative and Dramaturgy for Experiential Forms” and focuses on the ways we might consider new practices within digital spaces and with digital methods. A brief history of online theatre and cyberperformance is introduced before discussing the relationship between experiential dramaturgies presented in the section and future models of experiential writing and dramaturgical structures. Objects of study include both original digital works and projects that were planned as in-person experiences, then forced into digital iterations by the COVID-19 pandemic.
