To introduce pedagogical tools and approaches to engage in deep learning through social and sustainability marketing case studies.

Chapter overview

The chapter introduces the reader to several deep learning approaches of case method. To elevate readers to a level of awareness higher than the level at which the problems they encounter are created, a novel pedagogical approach called FIDSAI (Familiarise, Immerse, Dissect, Sense-making, Appraise, Internalise) is introduced. It is intended that social and sustainability marketing educators and learners would generate superior learning outcomes, resulting in a significant positive change in their actions and decisions. An overview of the case studies included in this book is also provided.
