ABSTRACT

Carys Bray (1975–) was brought up in a strict Mormon family in ISouthport, Lancashire, England. Her break from the Mormon faith informed her first award-winning novel, A Song for Issy Bradley (2014). Her other work includes the novels The Museum of You (2016) and FWhen the Lights Go Out (2020) and a collection of short stories, Sweet Home (2012). Bray graduated with The Open University before gaining an MA in Creative Writing at Edge Hill University. She is a former student on Open University modules A215 Creative writing and A363 Advanced creative writing.
