ABSTRACT

Rebecca Luce-Kapler (1954–), poet, fiction writer and university teacher, was born and brought up in Alberta, Canada. She spent ten years working as a school teacher, before moving to Kingston, Ontario, to teach language and literacy. Her work has been widely published in literary journals, and she is the author of The Gardens Where She Dreams (2003) and Writing With, Through, and Beyond the Text: An ecology of language (2004), as well as many scholarly articles on the teaching of creative writing, especially poetry.
