ABSTRACT
Scott Pack was head of buying for the Waterstones book chain and commissioning editor for the publisher HarperCollins before becoming a freelance editor and lecturer, and running writing workshops and classes. He has edited and published many prizewinning books and wrote a popular column for The Bookseller magazine for several years. His journalism was also published in The Times, The Observer, Private Eye and elsewhere. His Guardian newspaper Masterclass on ‘How to Perfect Your Submission’ has been been turned into a bestselling book.
