It explains the theory behind using near-peer role models, iterative community input, and sports-based curricula to break the ice around sensitive health topics. It also describes an approach to sexual health promotion that emphasizes sexual health as a part of a comprehensive adolescent health promotion approach that includes mental health, nutritional health, and positive youth development.
