ABSTRACT

Qualitative research methods are valuable when we seek in-depth understanding of individual experiences of particular phenomenon. The recruitment of participants, conducting interviews remotely, and analyzing over 200 transcripts offers insights into the nature of qualitative and interpretive studies. This chapter provides future researchers the opportunity to understand the challenges associated with conducting a large-scale qualitative study. Insights into conducting studies with a multiple-member researcher team in higher education are provided for researchers and practitioners. Finally, this chapter serves as a guide for those interested in conducting qualitative research during perilous times.
