ABSTRACT

This chapter examines the leadership of change projects and processes within Higher Education (HE) using the transition to digital curricula and programmes as a vehicle. The chapter starts by providing context for the change to digital and builds by examining the difficulties of leading change more generally. The authors present a model to help the reader identify the types of areas that must be addressed in order to lead change successfully. The chapter is written around practical and personal advice for leaders seeking to change culture and practices within their programme and concludes by making recommendations on how programme and project leaders might embed change.
